Don't miss this special edition of the very successful High Intensity Interpreter Training for Portuguese C interpreters.
The course will be a one-week combo version of the traditional program offered in Curitiba since 2014. The idea is to give Portuguese C students the fringe benefit of staying on for a very different learning experience as observers during the Portuguese A Hi²T on the last two days.
Dates were carefully chosen so that participants can add a professional development opportunity to their visit to Rio for the PRIMs (AIIC's Private Market Sector) Meeting. For more details, check https://aiic.net/events/595/plenary-meeting-of-the-prims-rio-de-janeiro-july-21-22-2018-21-jul-2018.
So, come and join us for this perfect chance to combine meeting colleagues from all over the world with some very productive (and fun!) days of intensive Portuguese C practice.
Interpreters with Portuguese C or planning to add Portuguese to their language combination. English, Spanish, French and Italian As and Bs are welcome. Other languages may be accommodated upon request, ideally with at least two students with the same combination in the group.
Live speakers presenting on a variety of topics for simultaneous and consecutive practice
In addition to instructors, native PT A interpreters will help during feedback sessions
Remote feedback by guest interpreter trainers from renown interpreting programs in Brazil
For further details on the program, visit the PT C Hi²T FAQ here: https://padlet.com/rschaitza/PTCHiiTFAQPRIMsedition
Maximize your exposure to Portuguese
At no additional cost, participants of this special PRIMs edition can stay on as observers of the Portuguese A Hi²T which will take place at the same venue.
Former participants have thoroughly enjoyed this chance of listening to more speakers and learning from the solutions adopted by native Brazilian Portuguese interpreters in the booth. Well, that's not to mention all the chatting and caipirinhas with local colleagues...
